The trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan which stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff is getting loved by the audiences and recently we told you about the actor who is playing the character of the villain in the movie.
Prithviraj Sukumaran is playing a negative character in Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and in the trailer, he is seen as a mask wearing guy. During an interview, Prithvi who is a superstar of Malayalam cinema talked about his limited screen time in BMCM. He said, “I believe that rather than placing yourself first, place the film and make sure the casting is done in a way that justifies the story… If you look at my filmography in Malayalam, there are multiple films where I’ve taken a backseat in terms of screen time.”
Prithvi gave the example of his Malayalam movie, Kuruthi in which he was offered to play the lead but he convinced the director to let him play the negative character. He said, “Kuruthi was first pitched to me to play the lead, which was played by Roshan Mathew. It took a lot of convincing on my part to convince the director Manu Warrier that I should play the villain, and someone else should be the hero.”
Prithvi has also given the assurance that even though Bade Miyan Chote Miyan has a big star like Akshay Kumar and a young and popular actor Tiger Shroff, it is incomplete without his character Kabir. He said, “In Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, there’s Akshay sir, he is one of the biggest stars of the country, and there’s Tiger, a very popular young star from Hindi. I can assure that without Kabir, the film is incomplete.”
The movie is slated to hit the theatres on 10 April 2024.
