Filmmaker Priyadarshan has finally addressed the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3 during his interaction at IIFA Utsavam 2024. Known for his iconic collaborations with Akshay Kumar, which include hits like Hera Pheri, Garam Masala, and Bhool Bhulaiyaa, fans have eagerly awaited their reunion.
When asked about Hera Pheri 3, Priyadarshan expressed optimism for the project. “Let’s hope for the best. So far, it was always a great combination with the teams, and Akshay. I hope it will happen again,” he said.
In addition to Hera Pheri 3, Priyadarshan shared updates about another upcoming film with Akshay Kumar titled Bhooth Bangla, a horror comedy where Akshay will reportedly play a magician. The film, set to explore themes of black magic, is expected to begin filming soon and aims for a 2025 release.
Speaking about the project, Priyadarshan remarked, “Yeah, that’s what I said. I hope it will work the same way,” showing his hopes for the film to replicate the success of their past collaborations.
