The tradition of giving bouquets or garlands to the chief guests of an event or the political leaders is a very old one and many times we have seen that the subordinates try to impress their leaders by giving big and beautiful bouquets or garlands. However, recently an incident took place which made many people laugh out loud.
The incident took place in a Congress rally which was conducted in the poll-bound state of Madhya Pradesh. The rally was taking place in Indore and a Congress worker presented a bouquet to the Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi but the bouquet had no flowers and instead it had only leaves.
Priyanka Gandhi also laughed after seeing the flower-less bouquet but she behaved sportingly and smiled. Here is the video clip which captured the incident:
This is how Priyanka Gandhi slammed the government, “Onion prices have increased before Diwali and housewives are upset over this. The government makes efforts to control inflation only when elections are held. The price of an LPG cylinder rose to Rs 1,400 and two months before the elections, the government reduced its price to Rs 400.”
