Actor Priyanka Chopra and her husband, singer Nick Jonas, attended the New Amsterdam Theatre in New York to see the Broadway production of Aladdin. Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, the couple’s daughter, was among them.

Priyanka posted several images and videos from the occasion on Instagram. Priyanka, Malti, and Nick Jonas posed with the whole Aladdin cast in a photo. The three also posed with Genie, Jasmine (Sonya Balsara), and Aladdin (Adi Roy), who are the main characters. Malti’s face was obscured by a heart emoji that Priyanka added to her shot. In another picture, Malti was occupied with Aladdin’s chirag, or lamp.

In one film, Malti and Genie were seen conversing while everyone else laughed. Additionally, the toddler and Sonya were observed interacting with each other. According to the video, Priyanka said, “She’s enamoured at the moment.” As a caption, Priyanka said, “It was so magical to see the Broadway production of @aladdin with our little family.”

Priyanka also talked about ‘incredibly talented’ Indians—Adi and Sonya. “Also, to see the two incredibly talented leads @adivroy @sonyabalsara, who are Indian, made my little heart flutter! You were all mesmerising! Thank you for the magic as always @disney,” she concluded her post. She geo-tagged the location as New Amsterdam Theatre.
In response to the post, Sonya stated, “Words can’t express how special it was to meet you and your family, thank you for being such an inspiration and pioneer for our community.” “Thanks for coming to Agrabah!” Adi wrote. I’m glad you could all make it. One admirer commented, “Malti meeting the cast is priceless.” Someone said, “It’s fantastic that two Indian-Americans were chosen for the part! Additionally, Nick posted a picture from the occasion to his Instagram Stories. “Wow!” he exclaimed. Seeing the fantastic cast of Aladdin perform live on Broadway today is a treasured memory for our family. What a great production. He also tagged Priyanka.
