KRAFTON, Inc.,  a South Korean gaming company, has announced a significant $150 million investment in India over the next two to three years. KRAFTON is the developer of BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI), the Indian version of PUBG Mobile. . KRAFTON is dedicated to supporting India’s overall progress and has a focus on developing the gaming and startup environment in the nation.

Since March 2021, KRAFTON has invested over $140 million in 11 cutting-edge firms, positioning it as a major strategic investor in India. The company’s investment approach strives to add strategic value by utilizing its sector knowledge in addition to financial contributions. These investments include a wide range of industries, including deep tech, audio platforms, Esports, multimedia entertainment, content production, and the creator economy.
