Top Telugu actor Allu Arjun appeared before the Chikkadpally police on Tuesday to face questioning regarding the tragic death of a woman during a stampede at the Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad. The incident occurred on December 4 during the screening of his highly anticipated film, Pushpa-2.
The 35-year-old woman, who was part of the audience, lost her life in the chaos, and her eight-year-old son was hospitalized. This tragic event led the police to register a case under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against Allu Arjun, his security team, and the theatre management.
Allu Arjun, listed as Accused No. 11, had been arrested on December 13 following a complaint lodged by the deceased woman’s family. He was granted four-week interim bail by the Telangana High Court on December 14, leading to his release from custody.

During his questioning, the actor was accompanied by his father Allu Arvind and father-in-law Kancharla Chandrasekhar, who were present at the police station.
The case gained further traction after Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand released video footage showing the sequence of events leading to the stampede. The footage is believed to have played a pivotal role in implicating multiple parties in the incident.
