Qualcomm selects 12 hardware startups as finalists for Design in India Challenge 2023

The chip manufacturer Qualcomm has revealed the names of about 12 hardware startup incubation program finalists for its Design in India Challenge 2023 competition. The 8th iteration of the Qualcomm Design in India Challenge, which was launched in partnership with Startup India and Nasscom, allegedly attracted over 145 applications from a range of industries.

Auklr Technologies Private Limited, Augrade Private Limited, Flo Mobility Private Limited, Trebirth Private Limited, Marcn Technologies Private Limited, Rymo Technologies Private Limited, Livnsense Technologies Private Limited, Siamaf Healthcare, Thryv Mobility Private Limited, Savemom Private Limited, Ayati Devices Private Limited, and Zebu Intelligent Systems Private Limited were the winners of the hardware startup incubation program.

“We stand in awe of the visionary startups revolutionizing sectors such as healthcare, education, EV transportation, wireless broadband, consumer electronics, and notably, agriculture,” said Sudeepto Roy, Vice President, Engineering of Qualcomm Incorporated in a statement. They have acted as catalysts for India’s amazing digital transformation through the skillful integration of 5G, hybrid-AI, robots, drones, and extended reality.

The winners will get mentorship, a grant of up to Rs 3.2 lakh, access to Qualcomm Innovation Labs, and other benefits that will help them develop their prototypes for a range of commercial use cases and applications.

According to Qualcomm Technologies, the company’s worldwide sales and business teams will be eligible to offer finalists incentives for patent filing and business growth prospects.

According to the firm, candidates provided original product demos across a range of product categories, including IoT, automotive, smart infrastructure, edge computing, health technology, robotics and drones, and agritech.
