Raghav Juyal Says He ‘Downgraded’ Lifestyle For Movies, “I Left Behind TV’s Comfort, Money”

Raghav Juyal, the dancer-actor is getting a lot of praises for his role in movie, Kill and recently he opened up on his transition from TV to movies and how it affected his lifestyle.

Raghav Juyal is a good dancer who is also known as “King of slow motion” or “Croakroaxz” and he has hosted many reality dance shows but he left television in order to work in movies and web series.

Talking about his decision of leaving television, he said, “I left behind my identity, comfort and money. At that time, my television career was at its peak. Leaving all of that behind and shifting gears is something that may make one look like a mad person. Having said that, I knew that the onus of failure was on me.”

He also compared the money that he used to earn on television and what he earns in OTT and movies, he said, “Every actor who has made that transition also know that OTT and films don’t give us the same kind of money that television did. I would go to shoot once a day and had a cushioned life and a vanity [van] back then. Jitna kaam karwaate the, utna paisa milta tha.”

He admitted that he has to downgrade his lifestyle for working in movies but he is getting creatively satisfied. He said, “We shoot for one-and-a-half years to two years for a project here. Before that, we prep for a year. I’m having to downgrade my lifestyle just because I want to do good stuff. But yes, there’s a lot of creative satisfaction here.”
