As rumours swirl about a possible romance between Samantha Ruth Prabhu and filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, a cryptic Instagram Story posted by Raj Nidimoru wife Shhyamali De, has added fuel to the fire.
On Wednesday, Shhyamali shared a thoughtful message on her Story that read, “I send blessings and love to everyone who thinks of me, sees me, hears me, hears of me, speaks to me, speaks of me, reads of me, writes of me and meets me today.” Though the message did not mention anyone by name, the timing raised eyebrows, coinciding with a rather intimate post by Samantha.
The actress had earlier that day uploaded a series of pictures on Instagram. One photo showed her posing with Raj Nidimoru and the rest of the Subham team in front of the film’s banner. However, it was the second image — a cosy in-flight selfie in which Samantha was seen resting her head on Raj’s shoulder — that sparked intense speculation.
The internet quickly lit up with questions about whether the duo’s relationship has moved beyond the professional. Neither party has commented on the rumours, but the affectionate nature of the selfie has led many to believe that Samantha may be quietly confirming something more personal.
Meanwhile, the growing buzz has also shifted the spotlight onto Raj Nidimoru’s personal life. Despite the speculation, Raj Nidimoru remains married to Shhyamali De, whom he wed in 2015.
The couple has a daughter together. Shhyamali, a psychology graduate, has worked behind the scenes in Bollywood as an assistant director with filmmakers like Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and Vishal Bhardwaj. She’s also a seasoned scriptwriter and has served as a creative consultant on films such as Rang De Basanti, Omkara, and Ek Nodir Golpo.
