Rajeev Khandelwal, a familiar and respected face in the Indian television and film landscape, has found himself at the center of casting speculations in recent weeks. Several media reports had claimed that the actor would be seen alongside Sidharth Malhotra in the romantic drama Param Sundari, and with Varun Dhawan in the comedy flick Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai. However, putting an end to the rumours, Khandelwal has now addressed the buzz, making it clear that he has no involvement with either of the projects.
In a recent interview, the Fever star clarified his position by stating, “I am not even remotely associated with any of these projects. Normally, I wouldn’t pay much attention to such things, but when people who care about you and your work are misinformed, it bothers me.”
Khandelwal didn’t hold back his frustration over the persistent nature of such unverified reports. Expressing his disappointment, he added, “I’m wondering how my name ends up being associated with so many films I’ve no clue about. It is disheartening that neither the producers stop these rumours from spreading, nor do the outlets that promote such claims care to check the truth.”
His comments shed light on the ongoing issue of speculative reporting and the impact it can have not only on artists but also on their well-wishers and collaborators. While fans may be eager to see him return to the big screen, Khandelwal’s firm response serves as a reminder of the importance of responsible journalism and transparency in the entertainment industry.
