The famous actress-dancer Rakhi Sawant is once again making headlines but this time, she is not in the news because of her dramatics or her legal fight with her ex-husband Adil Khan Durrani, this time she is all over the social media because of her medical issue.
Some time back, few photos of Rakhi Sawat went viral in which she was seen lying on the hospital bed and in one of the pics, a nurse was also seen standing beside her. While many thought that this is one more drama of Rakhi Sawant, her ex-husband Ritesh Singh told mediapersons that Rakhi is not doing any drama, she is seriously ill as doctors have found a tumour in her uterus.
Now, the Nakshatra Multispeciality Hospital, Mumbai has confirmed that Rakhi is admitted in their hospital and she will undergo surgery on Saturday. The hospital’s statement read, “Rakhi is undergoing a surgery on Saturday. She is getting operated. The actress is being overlooked by a gynaecologist.” However, the hospital hasn’t disclosed the medical issue with which Rakhi is suffering.
Ritesh has told a news portal that doctors have suspected that Rakhi may be having cancer, here is what he said, “She was admitted to the hospital last night after she complained of chest pain. Doctors are looking after her. They have discovered a tumour in her uterus. She had pain in her stomach too. Doctors have suspected that it might be cancer. Tests are being done. Doctors have proposed a surgery but they want to check first if it is cancer or not.”
