Yash Dayal, a cricketer for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League, is currently facing grave accusations of mental and physical assault. A formal First Information Report (FIR) has been lodged against him, and the complaint has also reached the Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath. The complainant, a woman from Ghaziabad, submitted her grievances against the cricketer, identified as Yash Dayal, via the Chief Minister’s online portal.
The woman has taken to social media to share her distressing experience, uploading images of her FIR alongside a photograph of herself with Yash Dayal. She claims to have been “in a relationship with a cricketer for the past 5 years. That person emotionally, mentally, and physically exploited (the complainant) under the guise of marriage.” She further stated that she “was introduced to their family and treated like a daughter-in-law, leading to complete trust.” In the FIR, she alleged that when she “felt deceived and protested, there was physical violence and mental harassment.” During their relationship, she also became “completely dependent” on Yash Dayal “financially and emotionally.”
Her complaints extend to allegations that Yash Dayal “was involved in similar false relationships with other girls as well.” The woman also claimed that on June 14, 2025, she “called the women’s helpline 181, but the process did not move forward at the police station.” Feeling “financially and socially helpless,” she is now “seeking justice directly from the Chief Minister’s office.” The complainant has asserted that she possesses “evidence such as chats, screenshots, video calls, photos, etc.,” and has requested “a fair and swift investigation of this matter” and that “legal action be taken against” Yash Dayal. She emphasized that such action is crucial not only for her but also for “all those girls who are victims of such false relationships.”
