Siddharth Anand directed movie Fighter is once again getting a good response from the public after experiencing a dip in the performance at the box-office and the best part is that the movie is getting praised by many celebs and people from defense forces as well.
Fighter stars Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Karan Singh Grover, Sanjeeda Sheikh, etc. in important roles and it is based on the air-strikes that India did after Pulwama attack.
Recently, Maj Gen (Dr) GD Bakshi SM,VSM (retd) watched the movie; he loved it and called it a perfect tribute to air warriors. He also praised Hrithik Roshan for his role of a fighter pilot and said that he gave a run to Hollywood actor Tom Cruise for money.
Tom Cruise also played the character of a fighter pilot in the movie Top Gun. Here is what Maj Gen (Dr) GD Bakshi SM,VSM (retd) tweeted, “Just saw the Movie Fighter. The director Siddharth Anand also responded to this praise by the retired Major General; he wrote, “Thank you so much sir. Your appreciation validates our labour of love.”
