Widely recognised for his role in the hit series Family Man 3, Rohit was found lifeless near a waterfall deep within Assam’s Garbhanga forest. According to a report, the actor had returned to his hometown of Guwahati from Mumbai a few months ago. On Sunday, he reportedly left his house around 12:30 p.m. for a day trip with friends. As the day progressed and the family lost contact with him, their concern quickly escalated. By evening, a friend reached out to inform them that Rohit had met with an accident. Despite being rushed to the hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival.
Rohit’s family, however, suspects something far more sinister than a mere accident. They have alleged that the actor was murdered and pointed to a recent altercation as a possible motive. The family claims Rohit had been involved in a heated parking dispute, during which three individuals—Ranjit Basfore, Ashok Basfore, and Dharam Basfore—allegedly issued threats to kill him. They have also named Amardeep, a local gym owner, who is believed to have invited Rohit on the outing where his life ended.
Local authorities have since confirmed that the actor’s body bore multiple injuries. “An autopsy was performed at Guwahati Medical College Hospital on Monday. Multiple injuries were discovered on the body, including wounds on his head, face, and other parts. We are investigating the case, but the four accused are on the run,” said a police official. The investigation remains active as police work to locate the suspects and uncover the truth behind the actor’s tragic death.
