The five times IPL champion Mumbai Indians is going through a tough phase as the team has lost all the three matches that it played because of which it is sitting at the bottom of the points table.
Fans of MI were already unhappy with the MI management because of their decision of replacing Rohit Sharma with Hardik Pandya as the new skipper of the team and now these three losses have further irked them.
Hardik Pandya has been booed by fans wherever MI has played matches till now and in Wankhede, the crowd went so berserk that the sports presenter Sanjay Manjrekar had to ask the crowd to behave.
The captaincy of Hardik Pandya is also getting slammed because of the poor decisions that he has taken in the first three matches and the pressure will keep increasing as the tournament proceeds further.
As per the reports, an MI player on the condition of anonymity has told a news portal that Rohit Sharma may leave MI after the IPL 2024 as he is not happy with Hardik Pandya’s captaincy. The player further said that there is tension in the dressing room as there have been arguments between two players and most probably, Rohit Sharma will bid goodbye to the team which he has led for more than a decade and made it win 5 IPL trophies.
