Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty, known for popular comedies and action-packed films, has consistently entertained audiences with hits like the Golmaal series and his renowned cop universe.
Among his memorable comedy films, the 2009 hit All the Best stands out for its enduring humor, still resonating with viewers today. In a recent interview, Rohit Shetty shared that he often receives requests to make a sequel to All the Best, a film that has earned a cult following over the years.
“I keep meeting fans and young people in interviews, and suddenly All the Best has gained a kind of cult status,” Shetty remarked. “People ask me, ‘Why aren’t you making another All the Best? Dhondhu, don’t just chill like that.’”
The original 2009 film featured an ensemble cast, including Ajay Devgn, Fardeen Khan, Bipasha Basu, Johnny Lever, and Sanjay Mishra. Ajay Devgn, who played the lead role of Prem Chopra, also commented on the film’s popularity, describing it as a “very funny film”. Other central roles included Fardeen Khan as Veer Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt as Veer’s elder brother Dharam Kapoor, and Bipasha Basu as Prem’s wife, each contributing to the film’s lasting appeal.
