Ronit Roy almost killed a food delivery driver driving on the wrong side of the road. Swiggy said they will investigate and expect delivery partners to follow traffic laws.

Ronit Roy was angry when a food delivery driver drove on the wrong side of the road and “almost killed” him.

Ronit posted on X (formerly Twitter) that Swiggy needs “instructions on riding” and asked if they care about their drivers.

Actor wrote, “@Swiggy I nearly killed your rider. They need riding lessons. Riding small electric mopeds doesn’t mean they cross traffic. Do you even care about their lives, or is it business as usual?”

The platform replied that they “expect” their “delivery partner to follow all traffic rules and have noted this to be looked into, do share any details if available for the necessary action to be taken.”

Ronit debuted in 1992’s Jaan Tere Naam. He rose to fame in Kasautii Zindagii Kay as middle-aged businessman Rishabh Bajaj. He returned to films after the 2010 film Udaan was well-received.

He worked in popular films like Arjun Kapoor-Alia Bhatt’s Two States, Akshay Kumar’s Boss, Jr. NTR’s Jai Lava Kusa, Aayush Sharma’s Loveyatri, and Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger. Farrey, released last year, was his last film.

He worked on OTT shows Kehne Ko Humsafar Hain, Hostages, 7 Kadam, and Candy.

The actor recently made headlines for taking wedding vows with Neelam on their 20th anniversary.
