Actress Rupali Ganguly’s popular television show Anupamaa has recently been the subject of much speculation, with rumors swirling that both Rupali Ganguly and her co-star, Gaurav Khanna, might be planning to leave the show.
However, a recent report from a leading entertainment portal has debunked these claims, stating that the rumors are baseless and false. The report also clarified that there are no plans for a leap in the storyline. Anupamaa, which features Rupali Ganguly in the titular role, Gaurav Khanna as Anuj Kapadia, Sudhanshu Pandey as Vanraj Shah, and Nidhi Shah as Kinjal Shah, has been a hit since its debut on Star Plus in 2020 and continues to stream on OTT platform, Disney Plus Hotstar.
Anupamaa producer Rajan Shahi breaks silence on the rumours and stated, “This is completely false. Both Gaurav and Rupali are very much part of the show and their characters are integral to the story.” He further said, “I don’t know where do these rumours come from.”
An insider shared with the entertainment portal, “Rupali and Gaurav are the main characters and central to the show. The idea of them leaving is simply not true.” Another source informed, “There are no upcoming leaps in the storyline. The circulating rumors are completely unfounded.”
