Saif Ali Khan Stabbing Case: Attacker Had Earlier Targeted Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat

The accused in the Saif Ali Khan stabbing case had earlier conducted reconnaissance (reiki) of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s residence, Mannat, on January 14. However, he failed to enter the premises due to high security.

Following his failure to breach Mannat’s security, the attacker shifted his target to Saif Ali Khan’s residence in the ‘Satguru Sharan’ building. The premises lacked tight security, allowing him to gain entry.

The attacker managed to climb to the 12th floor where Saif Ali Khan resides. He entered the room of Saif’s son, Jeh, through an open window. A house help discovered him and engaged in an argument, drawing the attention of the actor.

Upon hearing the commotion, Saif Ali Khan rushed to his son’s room. A scuffle ensued between the actor and the intruder, during which the attacker stabbed him six times using a sharp object. Saif sustained severe injuries, including a stab wound near his spine.

The actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital by his son, Ibrahim Ali Khan. Medical professionals performed surgery and removed a 2.5-inch knife lodged in his back.

As per the reports, Saif Ali Khan has been advised bed rest and he may get discharged from hospital in 2 days.
