Salaar is one of the most awaited movies of the year and fans of Prabhas are eagerly waiting for the film to hit the theatres on 22 December 2023. The hopes are pretty high also because of the fact that the last release of Prabhas, Adipurush was a big disappointment.
The trailer of Salaar has increased the curiosity of fans and many have found striking similarities between Salaar and KGF. Moreover, some time back, rumours of Yash doing a cameo in the movie also started doing rounds. The rumours started after a video of child singer Theertha Subhash went viral as she accidently confirmed that Yash is also a part of the movie, Salaar for which she is singing.
However, later on, Theertha Subhash retracted from her statement by making a post on social media which read, “I have seen KGF many times. My father mentioned to me that the team of Salaar was the same ones who made KGF. So, I assumed that Yash uncle will also be in Salaar.”
The producer of Salaar, Vijay Kiragandur also talked in this regard as he told the media, “I think [director] Prashanth has clarified already that there is no link (between KGF and Salaar). There’s no cameo in the movie. So that is not true.”
Salaar also stars Shruti Haasan, Prithviraj Sukumaran, etc. in important roles and it is going to clash with Shah Rukh Khan starrer Dunki so this will certainly be a big clash.
