He shared that he was shocked to discover how much he was paying his cook each month. “I asked my cook how much he gets paid, and I got a heart attack after I heard the number. I realised that ordering food from downstairs is cheaper than paying him his monthly salary,” Aayush said, referring to the in-house restaurant in their high-rise building. The surprises didn’t end there. Arpita Khan chimed in to say that they currently don’t even order from the building restaurant. Instead, their daily meals arrive from Salman Khan’s home, cooked lovingly by Salma Khan. “We get our food from my mother’s house,” Arpita shared, adding that Salma also prepares and sends meals to Arbaaz and Sohail Khan regularly. This home-cooked setup has replaced the need for an in-house chef altogether.
