Some interesting revelations are being made as the police is interrogating the two shooters who were involved in the shooting incident outside Bollywood superstar Salman Khan’s residence, Galaxy Apartments which is in Bandra, Mumbai.
Both the shooters were arrested from Bhuj, Gujarat and they have been identified as Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal. Both of them were from Champaran, Bihar and were in touch with Anmol BIshnoi (brother of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi). It has been reported that they were paid Rs. 1 lakh and were promised a payment of Rs. 3 lakh after the work is done.
A source stated that they both carried out the incident for media coverage, publicity and for spreading terror as well. The accused conducted a recce of Salman’s Panvel farmhouse but then it was decided that the shooting would be carried out in Bandra.
A Mumbai Police official stated, “The accused conducted a ‘recce’ of Salman Khan’s farmhouse in Panvel. They intended to just scare him, not murder him. The statements of both families have been recorded in Bihar. Around 7 people have been called from Haryana and other states for questioning, which is ongoing.”
The police is also interrogating Vicky Gupta’s brother Sonu who is a labourer in Chandigarh as they both were continuously in touch till a day before the shooting incident.
Salman Khan has been asked to stick to his schedule and he is working as per his schedule.
