The firing incident outside the house of Bollywood superstar Salman Khan certainly shocked the whole film industry and his fans but Mumbai Police also acted swiftly and made some arrests in this regard.
The two accused, Sagar Pal and Vicky Gupta who were on bike and fired bullets outside the house of Salman Khan were arrested within 24 hours of the incident and one more person Anuj Thapan (32yrs) was also arrested on the charges of procuring weapons for Sagar and Vicky.
Today, when the two accused were taken to record statements, Anuj Thapan who was locked in the lock-up at Mumbai police headquarters went to bathroom at 11 am where he committed suicide and died. He was taken to GT hospital but he was declared dead there. As per a police official, the reason behind the suicide is unknown.
Anuj Thapan was arrested from Punjab by Mumbai Police, total 4 arrests have been made in regard to this case, the fourth accused is Sonu Bishnoi who is currently sick but he is in judicial custody.
