As Salman Khan gears up for the release of Sikandar, he has taken the opportunity to address long-standing misconceptions about his work ethic, particularly rumors about arriving late on sets and leaving early.
Setting the record straight, the Bollywood superstar explained that, unlike others, his workday starts around noon, but once on set, he remains fully committed, neither returning to his vanity van nor sitting until his work is done.
Clarifying these misconceptions, Salman Khan said in an interview, āThere are many stories about me coming late and not being serious about my work. I have done more than 100 films, more than anyone else apart from my senior actors. It wouldnāt be possible to achieve this if I were constantly late or leaving early. There is a discipline 100 per cent, but my timings are as such. Some people start working at 6 am, I start around 11:30-12 because Iāve got a lot of other work to do, like signing a lot of papers, making calls, and working out. Then I have to come back, relax, have my coffee, and understand the scene. She (Rashmika) knows that once I am there on the set, I donāt even go back to the van or even sit. They set up a tent wherever needed, and I stay there.ā
His Sikandar co-star, Rashmika Mandanna, who plays the female lead, also shared her perspective. She admitted that she, too, had heard similar rumors before working with Salman, but her experience on set revealed a different reality. āThis is the reality and I donāt understand why thereās so much commotion around,ā she said.
Meanwhile, Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, is all set to release on March 30. The film features an ensemble cast, including Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal and Sharman Joshi, promising an exciting cinematic experience for fans.
