Salman Khan, the actor, has provided a statement to the Mumbai Crime Branch on the shooting incident that happened outside his Bandra apartment. Actor Arbaaz Khan, Salman’s brother, also gave a statement to the police on June 4.
The shooting incident happened on April 14 in the Bandra neighborhood of Mumbai, outside Salman’s Galaxy Apartments. The Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) was used by the Mumbai Police against everyone involved in the shooting when the ensuing arrests showed ties to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Anmol Vishnoi, the brother of criminal Lawrence Bishnoi, was a major factor in the shooters’ motivation, according to earlier statements from authorities. Anmol gave the gunmen information about the target and gave them the order to fire at the actor’s house on March 15, after the weapons were delivered to Panvel.
The prearranged shooting scenario transpired as anticipated, with the gunmen taking home ₹3 lakh in total.
On behalf of his family, Arbaaz sent a statement a few days following the startling event. Arbaaz wrote in the post that the family has been impacted by the specific “disturbing” episode. “The latest shooting incident with two unidentified individuals firing from a motorcycle at the Galaxy Apartment, where the Salim Khan family resides, is extremely unsettling and unsettling. This horrific thing that occurred has shocked our entire family.
Regretfully, a few individuals posing as our family’s close friends and allies and posing as our spokesman have been leaking to the media untrue claims that the family is unaffected and that this is all just a publicity gimmick. These claims should not be taken seriously, the statement said.
