Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt starrer Son of Sardaar got released in 2012 and it also starred Sonakshi Sinha in an important role and now the makers are busy working on the sequel of the movie.
While the sequel was supposed to have Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt both, the bad news is that Sanjay Dutt has been replaced by Ravi Kishan because the Khalnayak actor didn’t get the visa for the UK.
A source revealed, “Ever since his arrest in 1993, while Sanju has travelled to the US, he has applied for a UK visa multiple times, but never got one. The Son of Sardaar 2 shoot would have been his first trip to the UK. However, after Ajay’s team found out that the senior actor’s visa request had been rejected, they replaced him with Ravi Kishan.”
Son of Sardaar 2 which also stars Mrunal Thakur is being shot in Scotland and when the source was asked whether the same problem will arise for Housefull 5 because some parts of the movie will be shot in London, the source stated, “Sajid has chosen a wiser route. While the shooting with the cast begins in London, all of Sanju’s portions will be filmed in Mumbai. So, there are no issues on that front.”
However, dropping Sanjay Dutt won’t affect the movie much because the sequel is said to be made on a fresh storyline and it won’t start from where the story ended in the first part.
