The talented actor Sanjay Mishra has officially joined the cast of Ajay Devgn’s upcoming film Son of Sardaar 2, taking over a role initially offered to Vijay Raaz. In a recent interview, Mishra opened up about the challenges of replacing such a talented actor and his decision to accept the role after a call from Devgn.
Speaking about the experience, Sanjay said, “I have completed filming for Son of Sardaar 2. This is just part of the business. I took on the film because Ajay Devgn called me. One call from him is all it takes for me to say yes. He’s a close friend and has supported me through tough times. But replacing Vijay Raaz wasn’t easy.”
Sanjay Mishra went on to praise Raaz’s acting prowess, stating, “He’s a phenomenal actor, as everyone knows. I felt the pressure to deliver my best because I was replacing someone as talented as Vijay. We are friends, and I’m a huge fan of his work. This challenge motivated me to give my best performance so that I don’t let down the audience or Ajay, who has always believed in me.”
Son of Sardaar 2 marks another collaboration between Mishra and Devgn, who share a long-standing friendship. Fans are now eagerly awaiting the film’s release, with Sanjay Mishra’s portrayal in the movie expected to bring something unique to the role.
