Sara Ali Khan’s Journey as Usha Mehta: Ae Watan Mere Watan Review Breaks It Down

Ae Watan Mere Watan, Sara Ali Khan’s most recent release, is available to view on Prime Video. Producer Karan Johar, writer Darab Farooqui, and director Kannan Iyer are behind the camera. Reactions to the movie on Twitter have been inconsistent.

The movie aims to tell the story of Usha Mehta, the unsung hero. Usha Mehta, a young lady who founded an underground radio station in 1942, is featured in Khanna’s film.

The Ae Watan Story Watan alone moved too slowly. The tale wasn’t well established, even though the subject matter was excellent. There are extremely few films that discuss lesser-known heroes. Sadly, Sara Ali Khan was unable to give the narrative justice. Sara’s poor delivery of the lines and inconsistent facial expressions proved to be a hindrance. The film failed to evoke the same feelings of shivers that a film about freedom does.

The cast of the movie also includes Sachin Khedekar, Abhay Verma, Alexx O’Nell, Emran Hashmi, and Sparsh Shrivastava.
