Four terrorists were killed as security forces foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Machil
Security forces stopped an attempted infiltration attempt along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Machil region of Jammu and Kashmir on Friday, according to the police. Four terrorists were killed in the process.
In the Machil sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district, the Kala Jungle area, the infiltration attempt was thwarted.
The Kashmir Zone Police tweeted, “In a joint operation, Army and Police have killed four #terrorists in Kala Jungle of Machhal sector in #Kupwara who were trying to infiltrate to our side from POJK.”
In the past week, two significant infiltration attempts have been thwarted. Five terrorists were previously slain last Friday during an attempt to infiltrate in the Keran sector’s Jumagund region.
