Actor Manoj Bajpayee recently revealed about a meaningful chat he had with his wife Shabana Raza regarding his work, how he was still living, and much more in a recent interview.

In an interview, Bajpayee stated that it is a miracle that you are still in the profession. “When I quizzed Shabana why she was wondering that, then she replied that, ‘Your career should have over a long time ago because of the way you have hurt people.’”

People aren’t used to hearing no, he says, and he have said no many times. “I’ve fought so hard for a fair chance here, and I must admit that I have been offensive also, but there was not a choice. They claimed you’d get paid according on how well your picture does at the box office, but I said I’d been
here for so long and done credible work that I deserved more.”

Manoj Bajpayee is riding high on the success of his new film, Gulmohar. Critics have praised the OTT drama, which marks Sharmila Tagore’s return to the film business after a 12-year absence. This is just another achievement in Manoj Bajpayee’s career. Few recall the challenges the Satya actor had
to go through to get to this point in his career. In a recent interview with Ranveer Allahbadia, Bajpayee discussed the low point of his career and how he was out of employment for almost a decade.

The actor went on to say that the hardest days of his life occurred when he left Delhi for Bombay. “I used to work 18 hours a day in Delhi, and even when I was not paid enough, I felt pleasure and creative fulfilment. We had no idea where our meals would come from or how we would pay for the bus trip. I didn’t know English, so I kept practising to improve my fluency, and people thought I was crazy.

Not with standing the hurdles, I was kept busy. Nevertheless, when I arrived in Bombay, there was no employment, no money, and no food.”
