The Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan had a great 2023 as he gave three superhit movies last year – Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki and his fans are quite eager to know about his next project. Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan also made her debut last year with Zoya Akhtar directed The Archies which got mixed response from the audiences.
Fans were quite excited when they came to know that the father-daughter duo may come together for a project which is going to be an action movie. In November 2023, it was reported that Sujoy Ghosh will be directing the film and Siddharth Anand will be the co-producer. A source stated at that time, “The film has been titled King and will be a one-of-a-kind action thriller with strong dynamics shared by Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. One would have expected SRK and Suhana to team up on a relatively soft film against the backdrop of father and daughter, but they are ready to break the norm by collaborating for the first time on an action thriller.”
However, there is a sad news for fans as the latest reports suggest that the movie which would have starred Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan has been shelved. A source revealed the reason behind this new development and stated, “I don’t think that project is happening. Not after The Archies. Suhana needs to find a project as far removed from her father as possible. Earlier SRK was tempted to get on camera with his daughter ASAP. Now after The Archies, this historic togetherness is gone on the backburner.”
