The Indian superstar Shah Rukh Khan is running high on the success of his latest release, Jawan which has shattered many records. Earlier, the movie became the biggest Bollywood opener and now it has registered the highest single day collections on Sunday (10 September 2023) as it minted Rs. 85 crore in India only.
The movie has touched the Rs. 200 crore mark in just four days; it got released on 7 September 2023 (Thursday) and till now it has earned Rs. 206.6 crore in its extended opening week collections.
Jawan is directed by Atlee and it also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, etc. in important roles. The music of the film which is composed by Anirudh Ravichander is also getting a lot of love from the audiences and Jawan fever is growing even amidst the ongoing Asia Cup 2023 which is being hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Recently while having an interaction with fans on a social media platform, SRK gave a hint that Jawan 2 may be on the cards when he answered a question to a fan which was about having a deal with Vijay Sethupathi. The fan wrote, “Sir kaali ke saath ‘deal’ kyu nahi kar rahe.. I am a big vijay sethupathi sir fan ! @iamsrk”.
In response, SRK wrote, “I am a big fan of Vijay sir too… par Kaali ka kaala dhan toh le liya ab dekho doosron ke bhi Swiss banks se lekar aata hoon… Buss visa ka hi wait kar raha hoon. Ha ha!!!” (I am a big fan of Vijay sir too… But I’ve already taken Kaali’s black money, now I will bring money of others also from Swiss banks… Just waiting for the visa. Ha ha!!!)
Well, let’s see whether Jawan 2 will be made or not but Jawan is certainly scripting history.
