Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor were in a relationship at one point of time and they looked so beautiful and adorable as a couple that everyone wanted to see them getting married but they decided to part ways after some time because of the reasons best known to them.
However, they still remain cordial with each other and you will be a little surprised to know that before disclosing the news of his marriage to media, Shahid Kapoor told Kareena about it.
In an old interview, Kareena Kapoor Khan stated,
“Both of us were performing at a Femina event. We chatted. So he actually told me about getting married before he told the media. I’m very happy for him. He’s doing very well professionally. I haven’t seen Haider yet, but my sister saw it and loved it. And I can vouch for marriage being cool. I’d just like to wish him well.”
The last movie in which Shahid and Kareena shared the screen was “Jab We Met” which was a big hit on the box-office. Though they both worked in “Udta Punjab” as well, they didn’t have any scenes together. In fact, it was Shahid Kapoor who recommended Kareena for the role in “Udta Punjab” and their fans are still hoping to see them together in a flick.
