The Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha got married to her long time boyfriend, Zaheer Iqbal on 23 June and they also gave a reception at Bastian, Bandra for their family and friends.
However, everyone is not happy with their inter-faith marriage and they even have to disable the comments in Instagram in order to avoid hate messages. Protests have been organized in Patna which is Shatrughan Sinha’s hometown and there are many who are calling it Love-Jihad.
Now Shatrughan Sinha has responded to those who are calling this marriage Love-Jihad. He said, “Anand Bakshi saab has written about such professional protestors, ‘Kucch to log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna’. To this I would like to add, ‘Kehne waale agar bekar, bekaam-kaaj ke ho to kehna hi kaam ban jata hai (For unemployed people, this is all the work they have).’ My daughter has done nothing illegal or unconstitutional”.
He further said, “A wedding is a very personal decision between two people; no one has the right to interfere or comment. To all the protestors I say – go, get a life. Do something useful with your life. Aur kucch nahi kehna (I have nothing else to say).”
