Preity Zinta is one of the most loved actresses of Bollywood and undoubtedly she is one of the most beautiful actresses as well whom we have seen on the big screen. Preity made her debut with Mani Ratnam’s “Dil se..” in which she worked with Shah Rukh Khan and after that, she gave many superhit movies such as Kya Kehna, Salaam Namaste, Soldier, etc.
Currently, Preity Zinta is busy cheering her team, Punjab Kings in the ongoing IPL 2024 and people are talking about her looks, whether it is in western or traditional attire.
Recently the director duo-Abbas-Mustan gave an interview in which they talked about their first meeting with Preity Zinta, they casted her as the female lead in Soldier opposite Bobby Deol and they stated that they instantly liked her because of her natural and chirpy behaviour.
Abbas stated, “Producer Ramesh Taurani arranged for a meeting with Preity who was initially supposed to make her film debut with Ta Ra Rum Pum, helmed by Shekhar Kapoor. However, the film’s shoot hadn’t begun.”
Mustan said that the meeting took place in Tauranis office and Preity didn’t give them a chance to talk. He said, “Us zamaane mein auditions hote nahin the (Back in the day, there were no auditions). She sat in front of us, spoke for 15 minutes straight and left. In those 15 minutes, she blabbered a lot and didn’t give us a chance to utter a single word. We instantly liked her and thought that she was perfect for the role. She was chirpy and natural.”
Soldier released in 1998, the same year in which “Dil Se..” got released, making Preity one of most sought after actresses of the industry.
