There are very few people in this world who never give up no matter how many problems they face, they don’t get scared by the issues and instead they fight those problems, overcome them and come out as a winner.
16 years old Sheetal Devi is one such person who is an inspiration for many of us and you will be surprised when we will tell you about her in detail. Whenever we think of an archer, we think of a person who is physically fit so that he/she can hold the bow and take the aim with the arrow.
But Sheetal Devi has scripted history by becoming the world’s first armless archer who has reached the finals of compound event women’s category of the on-going Para Archery Championship 2023. Sheetal Devi defeated Sarita in the semi-finals by 137-133 I order to reach the finals.
As per the reports, Sheetal Devi belongs to a small village of Jammu & Kashmir and she comes from a poor family background as her father is a farmer and mother is a shepherd. Sheetal who was born without hands has taken training from Vaishni Devi Archery Academy and what is more surprising is that she started taking training of archery just 11 months back.
Kudos the girl and all the best to her for the finals!
