Shocking Loss: 17-Year-Old IIT Aspirant’s Life Cut Short in Brutal Kota Attack

In the region of Indira Vihar, a 17-year-old IIT-JEE candidate was fatally attacked, according to police on Tuesday. While the deceased was at a tea stand here late on Monday night, three youngsters who were also allegedly tutoring kids beat him with iron rods and chains, they added.

According to authorities, the deceased was identified as Satyaveer, also known as Rajveer, alias Ronak. He had spent almost two years studying for the IIT-JEE at a local coaching center.

Class 11 student Satyaveer was taken to a local hospital and, according to reports, died there from his wounds.

According to authorities, the deceased’s body has been deposited in the mortuary of the New Medical College Hospital for the post-mortem examination, which will take place upon the arrival of his family members from Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.

A local shopkeeper claimed to have witnessed some young people pursuing the 17-year-old youngster while brandishing iron rods and chains before attacking him.

Around 7 p.m. on Monday, there was a brawl among the coaching students, according to the police. The attacked student proceeded to his room, where, according to them, his health worsened later that night. He was then taken to hospital, where he eventually passed away from his wounds.

The area’s circle officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bhawani Singh, stated that seven or eight coaching pupils are thought to have been engaged in the deadly attack. He continued, nevertheless, by saying that an inquiry is still needed to determine the cause of the incident.

The DSP added that certain suspects in the case have been taken into custody and are undergoing questioning.
