A 28-year-old Spanish travel blogger described her alleged gang-rape by 7 men in Dumka, Jharkhand, on Instagram a day later. The woman claimed in a video that 7 guys raped her, showing bruises on her face.
In an Instagram video, she says, “We were hospitalized and experienced something we wouldn’t wish on anyone. Because they wanted to rape me, seven men assaulted us and robbed us, but they took little. We’re in the hospital with the police in India tonight. They beat us, threatened to kill us, and held a knife to our necks… There were seven people.”
The alleged incident occurred Friday night in Dumka while she was traveling with her partner. They planned to visit Bihar and Nepal.
In Dumka, the couple stopped their motorbikes and set up a tent at Kurumahat in the Hansdiha police station area to spend the night before being attacked by seven guys.

Jharkhand Director General of Police Ajay Kumar Singh said four suspects were apprehended and three identified. “The remaining three will be nabbed soon,” Singh told The Indian Express.
Dumka District Civil Surgeon B P Singh, who treated her, stated she had no ‘apparent injuries’.
Her partner wrote on social media, “My mouth is damaged, but my partner is worse than me. They hit me with the helmet numerous times and a stone on the head, but the jacket somewhat stopped the blows.”
The authorities did not identify the Spanish travel blogger, who has over 200,000 Instagram followers. An investigation is underway.
