On July 20, Sitara Ghattamaneni, the daughter of actor Mahesh Babu and former actor-model Namrata Shirodkar, celebrated her 13th birthday. To commemorate the occasion, the entire family took a plane to Sri Lanka with their pals on her birthday. During their birthday vacation, Namrata and Sitara shared photos of their activities.

Sitara said, “Sri Lanka through Yana’s camera,” alongside photos from her birthday trip on Instagram. She shared numerous pictures of herself taking selfies with friends, the local snacks they consumed, her and her brother Gautam Ghattamaneni lounging on the beach and in the pool, playing Uno at the dinner table, the stunning scenery from their hotel, and her cutting her birthday cake.
Additionally, Namrata shared interior photos from the trip along with the caption, “Srilanka 2025.” She also shared images of Namrata and Sitara posing with their pals, the breathtaking scenery they are taking in, Sitara blowing out birthday candles and making a wish, and more. In one particularly striking image, Mahesh is seen grinning broadly while posing for photos alongside Namrata, Sitara, Gautam, and their companions.
When Namrata posted a photo of Mahesh Babu, fans were ecstatic and left comments like “Spotted Mufasa (lion emoji)” and “Babu in last pic (fire emoji)” beneath the image. On July 20, paparazzi at the airport saw Mahesh, Sitara, Gautam, and Namrata departing Hyderabad. Before they entered, a paparazzo even captured the adorable moment when Mahesh kissed Sitara on the cheek.

Mahesh’s most recent appearances were in Trivikram Srinivas’ Guntur Kaaram in 2024, Parasuram’s Sarkaaru Vaari Paata in 2022, and Anil Ravipudi’s Sarileru Neekevvaru in 2020. In the Telugu adaptation of Disney’s 2024 film Mufasa: The Lion King, he also provided the voice of Mufasa. His impending appearance in SS Rajamouli’s untitled SSMB 29 starring Priyanka Chopra and Prithviraj Sukumaran has fans ecstatic. In addition, Sitara debuted as a model for PMJ Jewellers, a jewelry brand, and co-starred with her father in a Reliance Trends advertisement.
