The IPL match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Lucknow Super Giants which was played yesterday at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad was no less than a nightmare for LSG bowlers as SRH openers – Travis Head (89 runs not out, 30 balls, 8 fours & 8 sixes) and Abhishek Sharma (75 runs not out, 28 balls, 8 fours & 6 sixes) carried out a carnage on them and successfully chased the target of 166 runs in just 9.4 overs  with 10 wickets in hand.

The SRH skipper Pat Cummins was pretty happy with this win and when he was asked about the inputs that he gave to the batter, he said “We just let them go, they are two guys who are very positive and I’m a bowler, it is tough for me to give them any inputs.”

He praised both the batters as he said, “Travis has been like this for 2 years, he hits the tough areas, hits the middle a lot, might not be super conventional. Abhishek is just an incredible player of spin and pace. With just 2 fielders out, it is really difficult for the bowlers against them.”

Pat Cummins also talked about the manner in which T20I is growing nowadays, he said, “I think the scores have gone up, and when the wickets are good, it is tough to come up with answers against batters when they get going. The boys have had a fantastic season, but to win this with less than 10 overs played is unreal.”

This was certainly an unreal chase, what do you say?
