Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal have caused baby talk after visiting a hospital in Mumbai on Friday. Sonakshi had come under scrutiny due to her inter-faith wedding with Zaheer; therefore they decided on civil marriage instead; which took place on June 23. Days post wedding speculation about whether the couple may be expecting their first child has spread widely online.
Sonakshi and Zaheer’s white Mercedes could be seen exiting Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai, although they avoided posing for paparazzi photographs. The portal claimed Sonakshi and Zaheer were present but chose to remain inside without engaging with paparazzi photographers.
Soon thereafter, netizens began speculating whether Sonakshi might be pregnant for the first time like Alia Bhatt did shortly after her marriage to Ranbir Kapoor and announced it to fans shortly thereafter. One user wrote “Medical checkup if pregnant is good news”, another user suggested “Baby’s coming”, and another queried whether Sonakshi might be expecting. “Is she pregnant?” asked another.
Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal tied the knot at her Bandra home with family and close friends in attendance, having been dating for seven years before taking things further. Soon after their intimate ceremony took place, an anonymous Reddit user unearthed an old photo showing Sonakshi showing off an impressive diamond rock on her finger while also featuring another person standing beside her but cropped out from view.
Sonakshi first shared this photo on her Instagram account on May 8, 2022; at first many believed it to be part of a promotional campaign for a jewellery brand; now however, many believe she and Zaheer got engaged secretly two years ago, with Sonakshi wearing the same ring in both engagement photos as well as wedding photographs.
