Sony Unveils WF-C710N TWS Earphones with ANC & 30-Hour Battery Life

On Tuesday, the Sony WF-C710N TWS earbuds were introduced in several international regions. They have noise-cancelling capabilities like Adaptive Sound Control and Ambient Sound. The headsets have a similar design and IPX4-rated splash-resistant construction to the Sony WF-C700N that came before it. The most recent Sony WF-C710N earbuds are compatible with the company’s Sound Connect app and have a 30-hour playback time, significantly improving over the WF-C700N buds’ 15-hour battery life.

WF-C710N Sony: Cost and Availability

According to a press release from the company, the Sony WF-C710N is priced at GBP 120 (about Rs. 11,100) in the UK and EUR 100 (about Rs. 9,300) in a few European markets. The TWS earphones, on the other hand, retail at $119.99 (about Rs. 10,300) in the US. The regional Sony e-stores are presently accepting pre-orders for them.

Black, Glass Blue, Pink, and White are the four colour options available for the Sony WF-C710N headphones. The other variations have pastel finishes, but the Glass Blue Blue option—including its case—has a distinct design.

Specifications and Features of the Sony WF-C710N

With 5mm drivers and support for Sony’s Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE) processing technology, the Sony WF-C710N is said to provide clean and balanced audio settings. Additionally, they have Dual Noise Sensor technology, which detects and filters background noise using two microphones.

Sony’s most recent TWS earbuds offer Ambient Sound mode, which allows some background noise to be heard so that users can stay aware of their surroundings. The Sound Connect app from Sony works with the headphones. The software offers users 20 levels of ambient sound intensity adjustment. The app lets users adjust EQ settings for a customized listening experience.

All ambient noises can be heard through a specific Voice passthrough setting, which turns off noise cancellation. The WF-C710N earbuds’ Adaptive Sound Control technology allows the headsets to modify the noise suppression level in response to outside disturbances. Users are said to be able to enjoy crisp calls thanks to their support for AI-powered Precise Voice Pickup technology.

Sony confirms that the WF-C710N TWS headphones have Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, dual-device capability, and AAC and SBC audio codec support. They have Touch Control, which allows users to change the volume, play, pause, and skip music. For splash resistance, the earphones are rated IPX4.

In this case, the Sony WF-C710N earbuds are said to have a 30-hour listening duration. They can run on a single charge for up to 12 hours without the casing. Each earbud weighs roughly 5.2g, while the cylindrical storage and charging case weighs about 38g and features a USB Type-C connection.
