The summer season is the best time to spend some time on the beach and people living in the coastal areas miss no chance of going to beaches and taking a dip in the water. However, sometimes it can be dangerous too as the sea is home to many ferocious fishes such as sharks which can inflict harm on humans, especially when they are hungry.
A video is going viral on the Internet in which the beachgoers are seen having fun at the Navarre beach in Florida but suddenly they got the shock of their lifetime as a shark started swimming very close to the shore. The video was shared by an online user with the caption, “A #shark was swimming very close to shore today in Navarre Beach, #Florida”.
The video was shot by Cristy Cox and she told the mediapersons, “It all happened so fast! A dolphin was actually side by side with the shark at first and then just disappeared. The shark was just trying to feed as they are expected and just passed by swimmers. Everyone was stunned as it moved down the beach chasing the school of fish. We all just have to remember this is natural and we are in their home, so stay alert!”
The shark that was seen on the shore was Hammerhead Shark which weighs between 500 and 1000 pounds. It has the capability of reaching the length of upto of 20 feet and they live for around 30 years.
Be cautious if you are going to a beach.
