Bollywood’s A-list pair Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were pictured together for the first time since they revealed they were expecting their first child. At the Mumbai airport, the stars were pictured holding hands and dressed in white.
Ranveer and Deepika spotted
Ranveer and Deepika were seen leaving the Mumbai airport a few hours after she announced her pregnancy on Instagram. She concealed her baby bulge with a white cardigan and wore matching palazzos and a white top. She grinned for the photographers, finishing her ensemble with dark sunglasses and a brown sling purse.
Ranveer held her hand lovingly while wearing an all-white avatar complete with a T-shirt, jeans, shoes, and a cap. He accessorized the white with a silver locket and dark eyeglasses. The paparazzi presented a bouquet of flowers to the pair. They smiled as they accepted the token of gratitude with grace.
Ranveer and Deepika are expecting their first child
The news breaks days after Deepika was pictured hiding her stomach at the 77th BAFTA awards, where she was a presenter, leading to rumors of her pregnancy circulating on social media.
According to the couple’s Thursday Instagram post, the baby is expected in September. “September 2024,” was written on the image with baby clothes and shoes.
Priyanka Chopra, Shreya Ghoshal, Vikrant Massey, Madhuri Dixit, Sonam Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt, among others in the industry, congratulated the couple on their happy news. “Mubarak,” Priyanka said on Deepika-Ranveer’s post in the comments section. Alia posted several heart-shaped emoticons in the comments section. Shreya expressed her happiness and excitement for the couple. “Many congratulations,” she said in return. Vikrant wrote, “Bahut bahut shubhkamnaen aap dono ko!!”
In 2018, Deepika and Ranveer, both 38, made promises in a simple wedding ceremony at Lake Como, Italy.
Regarding work, the couple’s upcoming project together is the Ajay Devgn-starring film Singham Again, directed by Rohit Shetty. Aside from that, Deepika will appear in Kalki 2898 AD, and Ranveer in Don 3.
