Pardes is one of the most loved movies of Shah Rukh Khan and yesterday it completed 27 years as the film was released on 8 August 1997.
Pardes also starred Amrish Puri, Mahima Chaudhary, Apurva Agnihotri, etc. in important roles and on the occasion of the movie completing 27 years, director Subhash Ghai made a special post on his Instagram account.

While speaking on Arbaaz Khan’s podcast, Subhash Ghai accepted that during the shooting of Pardes, he and Shah Rukh Khan had differences, he said, “Maine Pardes mein Shah Rukh Khan ke saath kaam kiya. Uske aur mere beech manmutaav chalta rehta tha, tu-tu main-main chalti rehti thi (I worked with SRK in Pardes. We had our share of disagreements).”
