The Indian cricket team has sealed the 5-match test series in its name by winning the fourth test match by 5 wickets and now India is leading by 3-1 with one more test match to go.
The match ended on the day 4 with India chasing the target of 192 successfully in the second innings. The wicketkeeper-batter Dhruv Jurel is getting praised a lot for his patient innings of 90 runs in the first innings and 39 runs not out in the second innings.
The former Indian cricketer Sunil Gavaskar was full of praise for young Dhruv Jurel and he was so much impressed with Dhruv that he called him the next MS Dhoni in the making.
Little Master was also happy with the manner in which Dhruv Jurel kept the gloves. He said, “Of course he has batted well, but his keeping, his work behind the stumps has been equally brilliant. Just by looking at his game awareness, I want to say that he is another MS Dhoni in the making. I know there can never be another MSD but you know the presence of mind that he has, MSD also when he started, it was that. And Jurel has that game awareness. Street-smart cricketer.”
When Dhruv Jurel was made aware of Sunil Gavaskar’s comments, he said, “Obviously it’s a good feeling to hear a legend like Sunil Gavaskar talk about me. The mood was great, there were no specific instructions… just to go out and play. Watch the ball and play. Just that the long I play the better it is.”
The fifth test match will be played from 7th March at Dharamshala.
