Sunny Deol, the veteran actor is gearing up for the release of his next movie, Gadar 2 which is set to release on 11 August and the leading actors are leaving no stone unturned in promoting the film. Recently, Sunny Deol gave an interview in which he talked about the bitter reality of Bollywood as he feels that the camaraderie and bonding that we see in Bollywood is fake. He revealed that nobody was ready to join them when he was trying to launch Bobby Deol in the film industry.
He also talked about how difficult it has become to launch star kids in the present times. In the words of Sunny Deol, “Oh, it is very tough now. It is very tough for an actor from the film fraternity. There is so much of hatred people have brought out here. The way they treat, our family has never been a camp family. I remember going to all the directors even when I was launching Bobby. Nobody was willing to join hands with us.”
Sunny paaji further added, “I feel like, enough! So many people call me ‘paaji’ (Brother). I ask them: ‘Please don’t call me paaji because you don’t understand the meaning of paaji’. There is a certain respect for elder brother… There are so many things that have been going on, will keep going on. We may be great actors in life, even if not as much in front of the camera.”
Gadar 2 is a sequel of 2001 released movie, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha; Sunny Deol is reprising his role of Tara Singh and Ameesha Patel will once again be seen as Sakeena. The movie is going to clash with Akshay Kumar starrer OMG 2 which is also sequel of 2012 released movie, OMG.
