Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, announced on Wednesday that X Corp. will give all revenue from advertising and subscriptions on the social networking platform connected to the Gaza war to Israeli hospitals and the Red Cross in Gaza, amid the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas.

Musk stated, “We will track how funds are spent and go through the Red Cross/Crescent,” in a post on the social networking site X. We welcome better suggestions. Without regard to color, creed, religion, or anything else, we ought to care about the innocent.”

It should be emphasized that Musk rebranded Twitter as X Corp. in July of this year, following his acquisition of the platform in 2022.

Musk responded to a user @ViralNewsNYC on his tweet, asking how to be sure money won’t wind up in Hamas’ hands: “We will track how funds are spent and go through Red Cross/Crescent.” We welcome better suggestions. Without regard to color, creed, religion, or anything else, we ought to care about the innocent.”

When Elon Musk first said that the revenues from advertising and membership fees would be donated to Israeli hospitals and the Red Cross in Gaza, he did not state how much money may be made from these sources.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, has responded unusually after receiving criticism for supporting an anti-Semitic remark on the social networking site X. According to CBS News, Musk is donating money from X’s subscribers and advertisements on the Gaza War to Israeli hospitals and the Red Cross in Gaza. The Anti-Defamation League is among the groups that have condemned the action. Musk vowed to file a “thermonuclear lawsuit” against Media Matters for allegedly misrepresenting the platform after first endorsing a tweet containing anti-Semitic sentiments.

Musk defended X’s dedication to free expression in the face of allegations, emphasizing strict guidelines against encouraging genocide. The dispute started during the Israel-Gaza conflict, when there was a spike in anti-Semitism and Islamic phobia.
