Suryakumar Yadav Aims To Play In All The Formats As He Gears Up For Buchi Babu Tournament

The Indian cricketer Suryakumar Yadav got selected as a full-time skipper of India’s T20I team in Gautam Gambhir’s era and now he wants to play in all the three formats of the game.

Hardik Pandya was supposed to become the skipper of India’s T20I team as he was the vice-captain when Rohit Sharma was the skipper but after Rohit Sharma’s retirement, the team management decided to go with Suryakumar Yadav because of fitness concern and also because of the feedback that they got from the dressing room.

Suryakumar Yadav started his captaincy career with a bang as the Indian T20 team whitewashed the 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka. Now SKY will be playing in the Buchi Babu Invitational multi-day tournament which will help him in getting good practice for red ball tournaments.

While speaking to a leading news portal, SKY said, “I want to play for India in all the three formats. Playing in Buchi Babu will give me good practice for the red ball tournaments this season.”

What do you think, will SKY get a chance to play in test matches?
