To seek justice for her brother’s killing, Shweta Singh Kirti, the sister of Sushant Singh Rajput, has started an internet campaign. June 2020 saw the discovery of Sushant’s body at his Mumbai flat. Some said there was foul play, while others believed it was a suicide. His sister has been observed pressing the police to look into the actor’s death case more quickly.
“We will have completed 4 Years of My Brother Sushant’s Demise in roughly 45 Days. I request that the CBI expedite its investigation and reveal the truth. Let’s unite as one and stand together: Shweta Singh Kirti stated, “Tie a red cloth around your wrist or forehead, capture the moment, and share it using #Nyay4SSRJanAndolan.”
Many social media users responded to the post shortly after it was uploaded, calling for “justice for SSR.” “Sushant Singh Rajput bhaiya deserves justice.” One of the users replied, “We are with you dii, we want justice for Sushant bhaiya.” Another said, “Until humanity works greater than money, Indian politics will hide the truth.” “Four years! Something like that seemed like it was yesterday,” a third response said.
Shweta made a video statement in March of this year, pleading with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to investigate the CBI’s investigation into her star brother’s murder. It has been 45 months since her brother’s death, and Shweta said in her statement that they have not received any updates from the investigating authorities. She said that the assistance of Prime Minister Modi will expedite the investigation and soothe “howling hearts.”
Namastey. I am Kirti Singh Shweta. I am the sister of Sushant Singh Rajput. This message is being recorded for our esteemed Prime Minister, Modi ji. I wanted to draw your attention to the fact that, despite the passage of 45 months since Bhai’s death, we still don’t have any information on the CBI’s probe. As a family and as a nation, we are struggling with so many unanswered concerns in this issue, thus I would strongly urge your assistance in the matter, Shweta Singh Kirti added.
